BARE Policies (Returns & Exchanges/Shipping/Order Processing)

We at BARE want to create value for our customers and will make every effort to process your order to your exact specifications. Given the fact that our hair is 100% virgin, full cuticle human hair and each individual piece comes from a different donor each time, we cannot guarantee hair color or texture. However, our natural hair comes in a straight, wavy or curly pattern and the color is natural black. Wigs and hair extensions are an investment and we will always strive to make good on our promise of effortlessly flawless hair. We are very customer centric and want  our customers to feel beautiful wearing our products.


We are here to serve our customers by providing quality products with the highest level of service. One of our main areas of focus is quality control so all orders are thoroughly inspected and prepared before shipping. We want to guarantee our customers 100% satisfaction and as a result, this can only be achieved if we make quality control and customer service our top priority while processing your orders.

Payment

Terms of payment are always 100% upfront for hair extensions, custom wigs and services. We currently accept all major credit cards via PayPal. When orders are placed online, and we have reviewed your order, you will receive an order confirmation email. Kindly ensure that you review your order and shipping address carefully before checking out. 

BARE reserves the right to request additional payment and shipping verification after an order is submitted, i.e. complete an Authorization form. This form must be printed and completed by hand. This is done to protect you, our valued customers and our company by letting us know you authorized the transaction. 

 

Order Processing

Once an order is received, we will aim to start processing that order right away and will aim to ship within 1-3 business days, (in the case of hair extensions, if we have stock on hand and are able to fulfill the order) where possible. Customers will be advised via email or other preferred communication method if there are any changes. Standard processing time for hair extensions are 3-7 business days, 10-25 business days for all wig requests including custom wig requests where the hair is provided by the customer. During promotions or holidays, wig orders may take up to 30 days to be processed.   We will indicate in the listing if any of our wigs are "ready to ship" in which case processing time is 1-2 days.

FOR CUSTOM WIGS : TURN AROUND TIME WILL COMMENCE ONCE PAYMENT(WHICH IS DUE BEFORE THE HAIR IS SENT TO US) HAS BEEN RECEIVED. If the hair is received before the payment, we will not be able to commence the construction of the unit. Rush orders for custom wigs are 2-5 business days and will attract a fee of $90. Kindly check with us to see if this option is available before you order.

 

 Shipping

Items will be shipped based on the shipping options you select when placing your order. Customers will be advised of any delays in PROCESSING (NOT SHIPPING) your orders and whether this will affect the agreed up on time frame in which the item/s would have been received.

  • KNUTSFORD (delivery option within Jamaica only)

All orders within the US are shipped via USPS, FEDEX, DHL with receipt confirmation and insurance where possible. Packages shipped to a P.O. BOX will be shipped via USPS only.  Overnight shipments that depart from our facility on a Friday will arrive the next business day (Monday) and not Saturday. All shipping fees must be paid in full prior to orders being shipped. Please note that orders will only be shipped once payment is confirmed and cleared for shipping.

International orders typically take up to10 business days for delivery and are shipped via FedEx/DHL/USPS.

BARE will not be held responsible for any custom duties or taxes associated with your shipment that is charged by your home country.


Shipping Delays

Please note that we are not responsible for any delays in the shipment of your item once we ship your order, whether or not this delay is due to bad weather, natural disasters, holidays or carrier delays. BARE, will not offer any reimbursements for shipping delays. We will always aim to give you a delivery estimate when you place your order based on the information we receive from our shipping partners.

Please bear in mind that holidays do not count as business days and must be considered when calculating shipping times. We will also provide a tracking number so that you can easily track your order and have an idea of its location every step of the way. Invoices/ receipts will be sent with shipments. This is the only document that will be sent with your shipment.

Failed Deliveries / Refused Shipments / Incorrect Shipping Address/Lost Shipments

Kindly ensure that your shipping address is correct before you submit your order. Incomplete or incorrect address information is the major cause of shipment delays. Kindly ensure you have included ALL the information (address, apt#, etc.) needed to deliver your package. Your order will be shipped via our shipping partner to the address you provide. It is extremely important that you give us the most accurate and complete information possible. If an address correction needs to be made after your shipment has been sent you will be charged for any extra fees we incur to make the correction. Your item will not be sent until this payment is received. You will also be responsible for any additional shipping charges if your shipment is returned to us due to a bad address. NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED FOR REFUSED OR ABANDONED SHIPMENTS.

BARE will not be held liable for items misplaced or lost by third-party carriers. In order to mitigate the risks related to shipped orders, the client bears the sole responsibility of lost items if a shipping option with Insurance was not purchased at checkout. If the shipping option with Insurance was purchased at checkout, BARE orders will be insured for the full value of the purchase. If an insured order is lost or stolen by third party shipping carriers, a full refund is processed ONLY if all the following criteria are met:

1.A claim is accepted by the shipping carrier for the entire value of the purchase 

2. Customer did not incorrectly enter shipping address at the time of purchase

3. Entire value of the purchase has been reimbursed to us by the shipping carrier

The timeframe to receive a full refund is dependent on the specific shipping  carrier claims resolution process. Please refer to their website to understand their policies and procedures about the claims resolution process and timelines.

 

Refunds & Exchanges

Refund/Replacement/ Exchanges

ALL SALES ARE FINAL. UNDER CDC GUIDELINES IN LIGHT OF COVID 19 RESTRICTIONS, REFUNDS WILL NOT BE GRANTED DUE TO THE NATURE OF OUR PRODUCTS.

Customers will only be granted a full refund if our products are found to be truly defective or unusual. If you have received any product that is defective you must contact us within 72 hrs from the date of receipt. In the case of hair extensions, due to the nature of these products, a refund will only be granted if it is within good reason such as a defect, incorrect items received, and if we receive the products in their original state i.e. no perming, coloring, lifting, rinsing, cutting, removing the hair from the weft or otherwise processing the hair. This will void the refund policy. If BARE verifies and agrees that the product is defective in any way, we will then grant a full refund or replace the item if the customer agrees to a replacement. The replacement must be of the same value, if it is lesser we will refund the difference, if it is higher, you will be responsible for paying the additional cost of the item plus shipping charges. If BARE does not find the product to be defective, we will return the item in question at our expense. No exchanges/refund will be granted. No Refund/Replacements will be granted on custom made items, whether coloured extensions or wigs. For this reason, the consultation phase (in the case of custom wigs) is of extreme importance to ensure that we give you exactly what you want. Pictures will be provided once custom made items have been completed to ensure that you are satisfied and see what you will be receiving.

 

Exchanges

BARE will, at its sole discretion exchange products or portions of a product under the following conditions:• Requests must be made within 7 calendar days from the date of receipt. Any exchange requested after 7 calendar days may not be honored; however we will exercise our discretion where possible.• No exchange can be granted for custom made U-Parts/Full wigs (with or without closures). This so because the wigs are made to each customers’ specifications (head measurements etc.). Before we ship custom made wigs, a picture is taken (inside, to ensure combs/clips are attached if requested and outside to ensure for example that the color is correct) and sent to the customer. Any concerns must be raised before we ship the wigs. However, we will work with the customer to reach an amicable agreement and to see how best we can help if they are dissatisfied with their custom made units (wigs). • BARE will not accept any merchandise which has been used or altered (coloured, permed, brushed, combed, picked, cut, removed from the weft or processed) in any way. Given the personal nature of hair extensions and wigs and for health/hygiene reasons, we will not accept them if we find that they have been installed or worn. Kindly, return the item in the original and resalable condition as a necessary health precaution. Note that that any alterations whatsoever will automatically void ALL EXCHANGE AND REPLACEMENT guarantees.• If you require an exchange; meaning you find that you prefer a curly vs. a straight texture, and the exchange is within the stipulated boundaries previously set out, the products (hair extensions only) must be sent back to us in order to process the exchange. In order to process an exchange, the unwanted product must be sent back to us. Upon receipt of the product it will be thoroughly examined to ensure it is in a salable condition, an exchange of the same or higher value (additional costs absorbed by the customer) will be granted once everything is in order. All shipping fees will be borne by the customer.NB: For refunds/replacements/exchanges; all original tags must be attached and returned with the original packaging and accompanied by your original receipt. All queries/complaints will be attended to within 72 hrs after receipt. 

 

Alterations By Third-Party 

While we have no control over what you with the items purchased from us, we do recommend using licensed, professional, or knowledgeable hairstylists. BARE shall not be held liable for any alteration performed on our products by third parties. No refund will be granted on purchases altered by third parties. Refunds or Exchanges for consideration must follow the Refund or Exchange policy. 

 

 

Policy Changes

BARE reserves the right to make changes to prices, policies and procedures.

 

Discounted Products/ Prizes & Compensation

Returns, replacements and exchanges are permitted on certain discounted products only. Bundles and accessories purchased at promotional events, or online using any of the following: Promotional (Promo) Codes, or any other discounting method provided by Beautiful And Rare Extensions-BARE may be exchanged within 7 calendar days from the date of purchase but may not be returned for a refund. Items purchased on sale may be returned during the 7 calendar days and the sale promotion may be applied to the exchanged item if applicable. For example if the sale was on any length of curly hair and the customer wants to exchange it for another length of the same texture (curly), they can get the sale price for the exchanged item. If they exchange a curly hair for straight or wavy hair, the discount will not apply.

Prizes and Compensation
Any purchases made at trade shows, or received as prizes or for compensatory purposes are not permitted to be exchanged or returned.
